Changes due to force majeure The itinerary could always be subject to change due to force majeure according to weather conditions, sudden volcanic eruptions or strong earthquake shocks or any unexpected event that cause to lower safety conditions for travelers. Moreover, for cross-borders tours it is possible that the tours could undergo itinerary changes based on unexpected stop in border.

Please plan ahead your exit trips or transferts at the end of our services, with ample margin of flexibility, since there are many possible causes of delays and we are not responsible for your planning tight schedules connecting the end of our services. We are not responsible for loss of connecting flights, bus rides or transfers.


Day 1

Arrival in Santiago and visit the city.

After the reception at the airport by the guide, private transfer to the hotel, near the center of Santiago. Break during check-in or immediate departure to discover the city on foot: we will visit the streets and historical buildings, Plaza de Armas, "La Moneda" and we will have lunch in the traditional "la piojera", or we will take an aperitif in the Bellavista barrio. Later, visit of the House of Neruda "La Chascona" and, in the evening, we will go up with the funicular up to Cerro San Cristobal to admire the sunset. On the way back we will stop for dinner from picturesque "Rincon Nerudiano" (dinner not included). Hotel Atton del Bosque, Santiago Lunch included

Day 2

Valparaíso road trip

Departure at 8.30am, (one hour and half way) visit of Valparaiso with private car and driver / guide: visit on foot of the historic center and the port area, using the typical lifts of Valparaiso. Lunch in a typical restaurant and in the afternoon visit of the museum-house of Neruda "la Sebastiana". Hotel Ibis, Valparaíso Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 3

Visit Viña del Mar and Concon and fly to Antofagasta

Return to Santiago (flight time in the afternoon, in order to have a few more hours on the coast to visit Viña del Mar and Concon), short lunch on the way and flight to Antofagasta, private transfer hotel. Free evening in the city (Lunch and dinner not included). Geotel, Antofagasta Breakfast included.

Day 4

Visit to El Paranal and road trip to Calama

Private transfer to the ESO Paranal observatory at 2pm. Group visit and then we continue the journey directly and reach Calama for the overnight stay. (Lunch and dinner not included). Hotel BORDELOA, Calama Breakfast included.

Day 5

Road trip: Valle Arcoiris, Lagunas Baltinache, Valle de la Luna and arrival in San Pedro de Atacama

Panoramic visit to the Valle Arcoiris, Lagunas Baltinache, Valle de la Luna and arrival in San Pedro de Atacama for overnight at the hotel. Hotel Quechua, San Pedro de Atacama Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 6

Visit to the center of the Salar de Atacama

A full day trip to the center of the salar, to visit the Chaxa lagoon with its flamingos. We will continue towards the Andes, on the beautiful altiplano route, and we will take a small mountain road to reach the Miscanti and Meñiques lagoons. We will then continue on the international road, towards the Salar de Talar and his Piedras Rojas. Shortly after, we will go further into the Andes, always surrounded by volcanoes for reach the final stage of the day: the Salar de Tuyasto. We return to San Pedro de Atacama and we visit to the pueblo of Toconao. The trekking, even at high altitude, do not present technical difficulties. Lunch in a restaurant in Socaire included. Hotel Quechua, San Pedro de Atacama Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 7

From the canyon of giant cacti to the Puritama hot springs.

Departure at 8 am from San Pedro de Atacama: we will go north on the plateau, and at 3000 meters we find the entrance to the canyon of Guatin. Trekking of about an hour, crossing several times the stream and the falls of this canyon of rare beauty, oasis of the Cardones cactus. Hotel Quechua, San Pedro de Atacama Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 8

Trip to Bolivia, towards the Salar de Uyuni.

Early morning departure to the Hito Cajon border pass. We will cross the border with Bolivia and we will visit the Laguna Blanca, the Green Lagoon, the Desierto Dali, the Termas de Polques, the Geysers Sol de Mañana, the famous Laguna Colorada and the stone tree to arrive, towards evening, at the Hotel Mallku Cueva,in the pueblo of Villamar. Hotel Mallku Cueva, Villamar Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 9

Crossing of the Bolivian altiplano

We continue our trip in Bolivia, with the crossing of the altiplano: Valle de Rocas, Laguna Negra y Laguna Catal, where we stop for a short picnic, Aguadulce waterfall, Villa Candelaria. Hotel de Sal Luna Salada ★★★★, Colchani Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 10

Crossing of the Salar de Uyuni

We will enter the Salar de Uyuni and cross it from the extreme east to the extreme west. We will stop for lunch on the island Incahuasi, surreal rock covered with giant cacti in the center of the salt flat. We will continue towards the volcano Tunupa up to the pueblo of Tahua. On the way: visit the caves of the mummies and we will take a short walk to the viewpoint of the Tunupa volcano. Tayka de Sal Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 11

Return to Chile through the Norte Grande nature reserves

Early morning departure on the panoramic road of the Salar de Coipasa to the Pisiga / Colchane border. We will cross to the natural reserves Isluga, Vicuñas and Lauca until to Putre (3,700 meters). Hotel Qantati, Putre Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 12

Excursion to the highest lake in the world

Day with alternatives: if the previous day was able to visit Lake Chungara, on the way from Colchane, today you can go to the Suriplaza mountains, which are north of Putre. Or hike to the Volcan Parinacota and Lake Chungara (4.500 meters). Box lunch. Return to Putre, dinner not included. 200 km route on dirt road. Light hiking in high altitude. Hotel Qantati, Putre Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 13

From the Andes to the Pacific Ocean

Descent from Putre towards the sea, up to the city of Arica. We will travel along a panoramic road that leads from 3,500 meters of altitude to the sea, passing through the Valley-Oasis of Azapa. Options: Picaflor sanctuary or Chinchorro museum (oldest mummies in the world). Arrival in Arica and lunch / dinner, scheduled for late afternoon, on the pier with a view ... on the sea lions! And then the grand final with a visit to the "Morro", an imposing promontory in the city, by the sea. Place of the historical / naval museum, of the battle of the pacific. After this intense journey, lodging in the beautiful hotel APACHETA, on the rocks of the pacific ocean. Hotel APACHETA, Arica Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 14

Return flight to Santiago

After your flight to Santiago in the morning, private transfer to the hotel. Hotel Ibis Manquehue Norte, Santiago Breakfast included.

Private transfer to the Santiago Airport for your flight home or for your next destination. End of our services. Breakfast included.
